The Democratization of 3D Cinematography
Ever wonder what it would be like to make a 3D movie using open source software, readily available digital cameras, school's resources, your computer and some imagination? Attend this event and learn how two people with the same question in mind discovered desktop 3D filmmaking.
Ron Kriesel and Kathleen O'Reilly, Board Members of the 3D Center of Art and Photography will walk you through their process and workflow when making their first 3D film.
The presentation is designed for 3D beginners as well as those who are just plain curious about 3D and want to increase their knowledge and understanding.
Beginning with 3D basic background information and terminology, then delving into the 3D production details including; costs, freebies and lessons learned along the way, the information is designed to be easily understood and the techniques very accessable.
This evening promises to be entertaining and educational so please join us - it would be great to see you there!

The Cascade ACM
